A smilier
work life
Akoya scours the London landscape to find building assets in emerging London locations to create sustainable workplaces and creative, entrepreneurial communities.
Our brief was to create a brand and identity for the carbon-neutral developer, and one that speaks to consumers and the community rather than the usual B2B audience. So we had a bit of fun with this one. No…smilier is not a word you’ll find in the English dictionary, and neither is wellerness – but despite that, we all know these made up words mean!

Iconography
Well-beeeeing
With wellbeing and net zero carbon at the heart of the brand, the iconography had to be fresh, friendly and thought provoking – going a step further we animated the icons, the movement reinforcing the happy, ‘smilier’ face of Akoya.

Sympathetic Asset Branding
Their website positions Akoya as a company that develops places with heart and soul, and the sub-sites for each of their properties is an extension of this, fully embracing the place and space they are creating. And with their Lonsdale Road portfolio is set to be London’s first net zero carbon emissions street by 2030, this is all about creating locations where people can work, create, collaborate and have fun – sustainably.
